Head Varsity Cheerleader Coach: Lauren Renshaw
coach Renshaw is in her second year at Wakeland as a cheer coach and Communications Applications teacher. She is a graduate of McMurry University. When she is not working with the varsity cherleaders, Coach Renshaw enjoys painting, dancing, drawing, cooking, exercising, and spending time with her family. Her husband, TJ, is the freshman football and assistant varsity baseball coach here at Wakeland.
JV Coach: Shelby McMurtre
Coach McMurtre is in her third year at Wakeland as the English III teacher and JV cheer coach. She graduated from Texas Woman's University before coming to Wakeland. She enjoys cooking and traveling with her husband. They are expecting their first child this winter.
Freshman Coach: Tiffany Malone
Coach Malone is starting her second year as a family consumer science teacher and first year as a cheer coach at WHS. She has been coaching for four years including time at Lake Highlands Junior High in Richardson. She is a graduate of Southwest Texas State wher she was part of the college all-girl championship cheer squad in 2000. Coach Malone has a beautiful 2 year old daughter, MaKenna, who keeps her pretty busy, and they enjoy shopping, being outside, and spending time with family.
