The team finished their 4th varsity season in dramatic fashion, capturing the Class 4A State Soccer Championship for 2010 with an overall record of  28 wins, 2 loses, and 3 ties. This was his third time to receive this distinction. He was also voted Coach of the Year for District 27-4A in 2001 at Marble Falls High School and District 30-4A in 2000 at Beeville A.C. Jones High School after the team won their first district championship. Following the success of the 2010 team, Coach Oglesby was voted the TASCO Region 2 Coach Of The Year.

Coach Oglesby holds a USSF National “D” License and is an active instructor of coaching clinics for the North Texas State Soccer Association. He is the coach of Liverpool FC America ’00 girls as well as coaching an 03 and 04 boys team. Coach Oglesby also serves on the Tim McClements SMU Soccer Clinic staff for camps in the summer. Coach Oglesby also has led a team of coaches to Indonesia to give coaching clinics in the area ravaged by the tsunami and most recently began working with the Haitian National Soccer team to help rebuild their soccer team.

Coach Oglesby attended Hardin-Simmons University where he was a four year letter winner in football. He was an All-American place-kicker as a freshman and also was selected to the All-Conference Team three times. He still holds two school and conference records, and was a member of the National Semi-final team in 1993.

Coach Oglesby was a three year letter winner in soccer at Abilene High School where he was selected to the All-District Team three years. He finished his playing career with 45 goals and captained his team for two seasons.

Coach Oglesby is married to Treci, his wife of 14 years and also a Wakeland girls volleyball and track coach. They have two children in the Frisco school system: Cutter (13) and Chassiti (10). In his little spare time, Coach Oglesby likes to read and play golf!
