Ken Thorne is the defensive coordinator, inside linebackers and the head track coach. Originally from from Lebo High School in Lebo, Kansas where he was an All-State Tight End and Defensive End in football. He graduated from and played college football at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas and received his Master’s Degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. He has previous coaching experience at Denison High School, Bryan High School, and Pflugerville Hendrickson High School. He enjoys golf, history, and going to the beach with his family. Coach Thorne and his wife, Cheryl, are the proud parents of Andrea and Aaron.

Coach Amy Sepulveda (Gabehart) is the cross country and track coach for Wakeland. After graduating from high school in Longview, she ran track at Baylor University. She has a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education and a Master of Sport Pedalogy. She is married to Stephen Sepulveda.

Terry Bolton
Terry Bolton is the secondary coach and assistant track coach at Wakeland. Originally from Lufkin, Texas where he played football for the Lufkin High School Panthers. Coach Bolton attended Louisana College where he was selected All-American, All-Conference, and All-Louisiana during his playing tenure. Before coming to Wakeland High School, he coached at Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Texas. Coach Bolton enjoys working out, running, being active, and spending time with family and friends. He is the proud parent of a two-year old son, Terry, Jr.
