Coach Kim Watson is the head volleyball coach and girls coordinator for Wakeland. She is a graduate of Vernon High School in Vernon, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Education degree from Hardin
Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. While in college she was a member of the Cowgirl Basketball Team. She has been teaching and
coaching for 24 years. Coach Watson has been named TGCA All-Star coach two different times and has over 300 varsity wins to her credit. Here and her husband, Rusty, are the proud parents of two children, Ben and Hannah.
Varsity Assistant Coach: Josh Tabor
Beginning his 9th year of coaching, coach Tabor is in his 2nd year at Wakeland. He teaches US history and coaches volleyball and softball. He earned his bachelors degree from the University of Noth Texas and his Masters from Texas A&M Commerce. He enjoys reading, watching movies, and working on the hosue with his wife, Amanda.
JV Coach: Treci Oglesby
Coach Treci Oglesby is the jv volleyball and track coach, she also teaches Health at Wakeland. She lived in Haskell, Texas, before attending Hardin Simmons University where she was a student trainer. She has coached and taught for 12 years. Coach Oglesby came to WHS from Clark Middle School where she was the girls coordinator. Her husband, Rusty, is the boys soccer coach for the Wolverines. They have two children, Cutter and Chassiti.
Freshman Coach: Megan Schniers
Coach Schniers is the freshmen volleyball and jv basketballl coach. This will be Coach Schniers 1st year teaching and coaching at Wakeland. Coach Schniers went to Texas State University in San Marcos and also graduated from Abilene High School in Abilene Texas. In her spare time she enjoys running and working out.
